State of California    -When I am Elected- California Constitution ARTICLE 5 EXECUTIVE, SEC 13 When I am elected as Attorney General      of the State of California, it will be my duty      to see that the laws of the  State are uniformly      and adequately enforced.  I will have direct     supervision over every district attorney and     sheriff.  Whenever any law of the State is not     being adequately enforced in any county,  I     may prosecute any violations of law with all     of the powers of the district attorney.  I shall     also have the duty to assist the various district              attorneys in the discharge of their duties.       The Attorney General is the attorney     representing the people of the State of     California.     This is one of the most important offices     in the State government!                    Kenneth Weissman                Candidate for Attorney General                         November 2006 Election                 Click Here to Email
